Today is the birthday of the late comedian Fuad Khalil, whose artistic career saw him play many comedic roles, known for his humor. In addition to acting, he was also a dentist, but circumstances forced him to leave show business. A tragic incident where one of his patients died led him to start his career and fully devote himself to art.

The late artist was born on July 19, 1940. Known for his comedic roles in many films and theater productions, he began his artistic journey at the age of 11, forming a performance group with some of his childhood friends, including Mohie Ismail. He graduated from the Dental College in 1961.

In 1968, he made his debut in the play “Souk Al-Asr” and subsequently worked for many years in theatre, television, and cinema. His artistic activities came to a halt in 2004 due to illness. After participating in a film with the late Mahmoud Abdul Aziz, the audience gave him the name in the film, Stamoni.
