Tomorrow, Monday July 15, the 36-year-old mother of two, who was murdered by her estranged husband, will be buried.

Her funeral will take place in Amfilochia at 5:30 in the followingnoon from the Holy Church of Agia Paraskevi.

On the fateful night that was to be the last for both of them, the 43-year-old took the rifle and went to the apartment where his estranged wife lived with their daughter.

The perpetrator, who was pathologically jealous of his ex-wife, held his own daughter hostage and threatened her to force her to call her mother.

One of the incidents of violence unfolded on the beach of Amfilochia, where he violently beat the 36-year-old woman as a result of which she called her son and asked him to call the Police. The 36-year-old’s mother describes the shocking incident: “He took her and took her to the beach. He was beating her. He said to her (when the 36-year-old called her son) “Mom, where are you?”. “Santa, call 100” he tells him, “my father is killing me”.

The father of the deceased Areti, according to an Alpha report, was the first to learn in the morning regarding his daughter’s murder. “I was leaving home to go to work and my friends alerted me. I didn’t know anything. I’d rather be struck by lightning and die than this.”

“He has a gun, he will kill me” – Areti’s last words

“I am Virtue […] he’s got a gun, he’s going to kill me!” were allegedly the last words of Areti who was murdered by her husband in Amfilochia, while she was communicating with the police, according to Mega.
