The Citizen Account Program announced that it had deposited today (Monday), 3.7 billion riyals, the provision for April support for beneficiaries whose applications have completed and who meet the eligibility criteria in the 65th batch.

The program added that the deposit came following the generous directive, which included the continuation of extending the additional support to the beneficiaries for the next 4 months, until the July 2023 batch, with the aim of enabling the beneficiaries and protecting them from the repercussions resulting from the global price hike, and accordingly the full entitlement to the main beneficiary will be 720 riyals instead of 417 riyals.

Walid Al-Asmari, General Manager of the Citizen Account Program, said that the number of beneficiaries who met the eligibility criteria in the 65th batch amounted to 11.1 million beneficiaries and continued, bringing the total that the program has paid to beneficiaries since its inception to more than 156 billion riyals, including two billion riyals retroactive amounts.

He explained that 76% of the total beneficiaries received support in this batch, as the average support for one family reached 1841 riyals, while the number of heads of families reached 2.1 million heads of families, while the number of dependents reached more than 8.4 million beneficiaries, and the number of independents who met the eligibility criteria reached more than From 621 thousand beneficiaries.
