The Blood Bank of Extremadura has scheduled blood draws for Friday, August 30 at the César Carlos I Educational Complex in Jaraíz de la Vera.
The collection will take place between 6 and 10 pm. In order to do so, Baco de Sangre -apart from the support of the Jaraíz Town Hall- will count on the collaboration of the Virgen del Puerto Blood Donor Brotherhood and volunteers from Jaraíz.
«Giving life»
This body -dependent on the Regional Government of Extremadura- has made an appeal for all those who can do so to come forward and donate, since it is “a generous and altruistic act”, it stressed, which will redound to “the benefit of all the patients” who need it.
For its part, the Jaraiceño Council has asked residents to go to the César Carlos I on August 30 to donate: “Let’s continue giving life. Donating blood is a voluntary, responsible and altruistic action that helps save many lives.”
