LIBREVILLE, April 3 (Infosplusgabon) – The Owendo Ore Port (OMP) is theleader of manganese rail transport in Gabon. OMP contributes significantly to the growth of exports and to the strengthening of Gabon’s position as a world leader in the international manganese market.
The OMP has created more than 1300 direct and indirect jobs through its activities. Since its creation in 2017, OMP has been a leader in the vertical bulk carrier port sector with a customer-centric approach. Gabon’s only ore port is committed to inclusion and training, with in particular 50% of women in its management. Railway maintenance workshops are environmentally friendly.
