Tornacum Motors, Garage du Hainaut and Gheysens change owners.
Several garages in Picardy Wallonia have just been bought by the Omnia-Cars group. These are Tornacum Motors in Tournai, Garage du Hainaut in Ath and Garage Gheysens in Mouscron, several operating sites for the brands of the Stellantis group (Citroën, DS Automobiles, Opel, Peugeot, Vauxhall, Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Jeep, Lancia, Maserati and Ram).
“The acquisition of the three concessions allows us to extend our group’s Stellantis offer to western Hainaut. We have also decided to start a collaboration with Olivier Gheysens and François Bocquet, former owners of the companies taken over, who, thanks to their respective knowledge, will contribute to the development of our group” explains Gustave Goeyens, one of the group’s administrators. This group was created in 2016. It then distributed the Renault & Dacia brands in the regions of Tournai, Ath, Mouscron, Mons, Binche and Péruwelz. Since 2019, it has continued to develop with the acquisition of garages offering Stellantis brands.
