Singapore, December 9, 2023 – Omni HR, an Asia-focused employee management platform, today announced it has secured $7.4 million in funding, bringing its total funds raised to $9.8 million. The round, led by Picus Capital, will fuel the company’s mission to provide sophisticated, localized HR solutions across the Asia-Pacific region. Other participants include Alpha JWC Ventures, January Capital, and Ratio Ventures.
Founded in 2021 by former Goldman Sachs executive Brian Ip, Omni HR tackles a growing challenge faced by businesses operating in Asia: finding HR tech solutions tailored to the region’s unique needs.
“Asia has long been overlooked in the HR tech landscape, forcing companies to choose between global platforms that lack localization or local platforms that fail to scale,” explains Brian Ip, founder and CEO of Omni HR. “We’re changing that by building natively for Asia, blending localized features with modern functionalities like automations and flexible workflows.
Designed for the needs of modern, multi-country teams, we aim to be the foundational operating system for seamless and effective employee management.”
The capital influx comes on the heels of rapid growth – Omni HR has experienced continuous double-digit, month-over-month growth. The company boasts hundreds of customers across Asia, servicing clients in over 79 countries.
Addressing Asia’s Unique HR Needs
Omni HR addresses several key pain points for multinational companies expanding into Asia. Many global platforms lack the region-specific features and understanding of local regulations and cultural nuances vital to effective workforce management in Asia.

**Brian:** Thanks for having me! We’re thrilled about the support from our investors and equally excited to continue building out our platform.
**Great to hear. Can you tell our viewers a bit more about the problem Omni HR is solving?**
**Brian:** Absolutely. Asia is a complex region for HR management. Many global platforms just don’t cater to the unique regulations, cultures, and languages across different countries. On the flip side, local platforms often struggle to scale up and offer the advanced functionalities that multinational companies need. We saw this gap and decided to build a solution specifically designed for Asia.

**Brian:** We are building natively for Asia. Our platform blends localization with modern HR tools. Think things like automations, flexible workflows, and features tailored to specific cultural contexts. Essentially, we aim to be the foundational operating system for seamless and effective employee management across the diverse landscape of Asia.
**And you mentioned rapid growth. Could you elaborate on that?**

It’s been an amazing journey, and this new funding will allow us to further accelerate our growth and reach even more businesses across the region.
**That’s incredibly impressive! Thanks for sharing your insights with us, Brian. We wish you all the best in your mission to revolutionize HR in Asia.**
