Muscat: A public holiday has been declared in Oman. In keeping with Isra-Mi’raj Public holiday in Oman Announced. March 1 will be a holiday for both the public and private sectors in the country, officials said.

The public holiday in Kuwait will start from February 27. Holidays in Kuwait will be held from February 27 to March 5 in observance of Independence Day, Liberation Day and Al Israwal Mirage. Holidays are applicable to Ministries, Government Agencies and Public Sector Undertakings. This was reported by the Kuwait News Agency.

The cabinet decided to give five days leave. But with the Friday and Saturday weekends approaching, there will be nine days off. The holiday starts on February 27th and ends on March 5th. All institutions will be open from Sunday, March 6, following a nine-day break.
