Teh Omagh community is ⁣grieving the loss of Johnston King, a beloved local businessman and cherished family man, who passed away peacefully at his home on Monday. Known for ⁢his unwavering⁤ dedication to his family ‌and community, Johnston‌ leaves behind a legacy of⁢ kindness, hard work, and service.

For decades, Johnston was a cornerstone⁣ of the automotive industry in the region, operating the primary Ford dealership franchise. His commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction earned him widespread respect. “as a car ⁣dealer for Ford, Johnston built up a good buisness on the Derry Road and had a ‍good reputation with his customers,” said Rev Jonathan​ Cowan, the family ⁣minister. “Johnston King Motors became a trusted name⁢ in the industry, and Johnston was always ready with a warm smile and⁤ a helping hand.”

Beyond his​ professional‌ achievements,Johnston ​was a devoted ⁤family man. He was the loving​ husband of⁤ the late Margaret and a proud ⁢father to ​Pauline, Trevor, Gary, and Estelle.‌ He also held a special place in the hearts ‌of his sons-in-law Ben, emma, Sonya, and Bill, and his​ grandchildren Hugo, Ethan, Darcie, phoebe, and Jules. Johnston was ​a⁢ dear brother ⁣to⁤ Sam and Eileen‍ and was⁤ preceded in death by his⁤ brothers Bill and Joe.

A ⁣Service‍ of Thanksgiving will be ‍held at Mountjoy Presbyterian Church on⁢ Thursday at 1.30pm, ⁢followed by burial ‌in‍ the⁤ church graveyard. In lieu of flowers, the family has‌ requested ⁢donations to Parkinson’s NI, which ‍can be made through Robert‌ Armstrong⁢ & ⁤son Funeral Directors.
