Three Czech four-wheelers went in for repairs right away. Although Tereza Petržilková improved her season’s best with a time of 51.46, she finished fourth in the first of four runs and did not advance to the semi-finals.
Compared to the start, Lurdes Gloria Manuel also improved significantly, who took third place with a performance of 50.81 and had to wait on the hot seat to advance to time from last place. And since the other two runs had a slower pace, the Czech talent will present itself on Wednesday evening in the semi-finals! On the contrary, Lada Vondrová recorded only a time of 52.15 and finished fifth in her run.

Lourdes Gloria Manuel won her way to the semifinals of the 400 meters.
Repairs were also completed by Vít Müller on the 400-meter steeplechase course. He had an excellent start and with a time of 48.96 took almost half a second off his performance in the heats, but finished third, which was not enough to advance to the semi-finals.
Mile runner Sasínek Mäki stayed in the back positions in the start and saved her energy for the finish. Although she overtook a number of her rivals, the sixth-placed Spaniard Pérez also picked up the pace at the end and the Czech representative could not get in front of her. She finished seventh, so she has to go to tomorrow’s repairs.
