The U19 of Olympiakos is making history in Europe. Piraeus defeated Lance on penalties (4-2, 2-2 regular time) and advanced to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Youth League.
The Olympiacos babies continued their terrible run in Europe. The team of Sotiris Sylaidopoulos also overcame the obstacle of Lance on penalties and advanced to the “8” of the UEFA Youth League, following a game that ended in a 2-2 draw in regular time at “G. Karaiskakis”.
This is the best performance of a Greek team in this competition. Olympiacos had once once more reached the round of 16 in the past and now has the opportunity to make even greater history in Europe.
