Olivia Munn beat cancer. The “X-Men” star underwent a double mastectomy

Olivia Munn revealed that she was diagnosed with breast cancer last year. Fighting for her health, she underwent four surgeries, including a double mastectomy.

Olivia Munn shared her story in an Instagram post. The actress wants to give courage to other women fighting cancer.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I hope that by sharing this I will help others find peace of mind and inspiration for their own fight, she wrote.

In a moving entry, the actress described her experiences in detail: tests that allowed the disease to be diagnosed at an early stage, surgeries and the accompanying feelings, as well as the support of a team of doctors and loved ones that she could count on in difficult times.

I was lucky. We discovered it when I still had the opportunity. I would like the same for any woman who may have to face this one day. Ask your doctors to calculate your risk of developing breast cancer. Dr. Aliabadi told me that if it is more than 20%, after the age of 30, you must have a mammogram and breast MRI once a year, she wrote.
