In an interview with the British BBC, Olena Selenska said that the family does not have as much time together as they would like. “It may be a bit selfish, but I need my husband – not as a historical figure, but by my side,” she was quoted as saying on the broadcaster’s website on Tuesday.
But they are both strong, emotionally and physically. “And I’m sure we’ll make it together.” The Ukrainian First Lady makes more public appearances. She has two children with her husband Selenskyj. The family does not live with him, Selenska said, according to the BBC. “We have the opportunity to see each other, but not as often as we would like. My son misses his father.”
It also hurts to see that her children can’t make plans at such a young age. “They dream of travel, of new experiences, of feelings.” Her daughter is 19. “She doesn’t have such an opportunity.” There are limits to what you can get away with and they try to live within those limits.
