The Ukrainian boxer’s wife, Kateryna, gave birth to a daughter.

WBO, WBA, IBO and IBF heavyweight world champion Oleksandr Usyk became a father for the fourth time.

About this reported Ukrainian presenter Slava Dyomin is on his Instagram.

The wife of the 37-year-old boxer, Kateryna, gave birth to a daughter. The girl was born in one of the maternity hospitals in Kyiv. She weighs almost 5 kilograms and is 58 centimeters tall. The couple named her Maria.

Dyomin added that Usyk’s sons currently live with their grandmother abroad, while his daughter remained in Kyiv with her mother.

It should be noted that Usyk and his wife are also raising a daughter Elizaveta and sons Kirill and Mykhailo.

We will remind, already on February 17, Oleksandr will hold the most important fight in his career – the Ukrainian will fight in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) with the British WBC title holder Tyson Fury for the title of absolute world champion in super heavyweight.

The winner of the fight between Usyk and Fury will become the first absolute world champion in the heavyweight division in the 21st century.

The last “absolute” in heavyweight was Lennox Lewis, who achieved this status in 1999, when he defeated Evander Holyfield. At that time, the WBA, WBC and IBF titles were at stake. The WBO belt was recognized as equivalent in 2007, so the winner of the fight between Usyk and Fury will become the first ever “absolute” heavyweight champion with four major titles.
