It was only supposed to go to the hoof trimming – but a 500-kilo bull didn’t want to endure that, forced the hydraulic system of the hoof trimming stand and escaped its 58-year-old owner across a meadow to the neighboring farm. The farmer chasing the bull and his 62-year-old helper alerted the 65-year-old farmer’s wife and her 38-year-old son to the neighboring farm. Together, the four tried to drive the animal into the courtyard of the farm. During this attempt, the 65-year-old farmer’s wife was pushed to the ground by the bull. She was injured to an unspecified degree and was taken to the Braunau hospital accompanied by the emergency doctor. The escaped bull was found and killed by informed hunters in a nearby field.
