Vienna (OTS) – “Elvis – from Memphis to Vienna”: From 24th – 27th. In January, the exhibition in the 48er-Tandler in Margareten impresses with original exhibits from the King’s private collection. Wednesday to Saturday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., admission is free.
The exhibition “Elvis – From Memphis to Vienna” is a highlight for all Elvis fans and music lovers. The impressive collection of original exhibits from Elvis Presley’s private collection can be seen exclusively at the 48er-Tandler in Vienna and will be opened by Elvis’ cousin, Donna Presley. Old but good – it’s not just Elvis and his music, but also the second-hand goods in the 48mm tandler.
Visitors have the unique opportunity to admire original clothing, police badges, gold records and jewelry as well as the guitar that Elvis bought in Frankfurt. The King’s watches and original autographs are also on display. Two free hour-and-a-half guided tours take place every day, giving a deep insight into the fascinating life and unique career of Elvis Presley. The exhibition was put together by Elvis curator and expert Andreas Schröer from Gelsenkirchen. It shows a selection from Schröer’s impressive collection, which includes a total of 1,800 exhibits and is considered “the largest outside of Graceland”.
The world of music in the 48mm Tandler
The 48er Tandler is a paradise for music fans, and not just during the Elvis exhibition. All year round, the Vienna second-hand market offers a large selection of musical instruments, such as guitars and violins, but also unusual records, CDs, radios and record players.
