After Le Havre and now Lyon, will Tino Kadewere take another turn in his career?
It’s a large contingent of players who only have contractual ties with Olympique Lyonnais until June 30, 2024. Because in the lot there are no less than four players currently on loan. But two – central defender Duje Caleta-Car and striker Mama Baldé – have an option to buy, unlike wingers Ernest Nuamah and Diego Moreira.
Four players on loan to OL this season
Like governance, since the transfer of the club to the Eagle Football fund, the OL collective has been a work in progress. Although progression is not really the word at the start of the 2023-2024 season, Les Gones still have not won following the first six days and a change of coach. Moreover, Fabio Grosso, the new one in place, is another under contract until the end of this financial year, with an option for one more season.

As for the players, striker Tino Kadewere, balancing between remaining in the team and leaving OL this summer, is the most bankable player (excluding those on loan), targeted by this season’s deadline. With him are added the Brazilian full-back Henrique Silva and the goalkeeper backup, Rémy Riou, who might, at 36, hang up his boots for good.
