The oral care market in Brazil has experienced solid growth in recent years and according to data from Statista, revenue from oral hygiene market is expected to grow around 11.99% per year until 2029, reaching US$1.18 billion in market size. Within this context, oiwhite seeks to bring innovation and launches flavored tooth whitening strips, peroxide-free, vegan, residue-free and without animal testing.

Founded by Swiss entrepreneurs David W. and Luca E., oiwhite is a national company that emerged in 2023 from the founders’ vision that there was a gap in the Brazilian market: effective teeth whitening solutions were mostly limited to the clinical environment, where procedures tend to be expensive and inaccessible to a large part of the population. After interviews with more than 300 dentists and consumers, David and Luca identified this opportunity and developed the formula for teeth whitening strips in conjunction with dentists so that people can safely whiten their teeth in the comfort of their homes.

The oiwhite teeth whitening strips were approved by the National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa) and aim to offer results in seven days. This product marks oiwhite’s entry into the oral hygiene market, with plans to expand its portfolio with other solutions in the coming months.

The oral hygiene market in Brazil presents a growth projection significant, with an increase in the population’s awareness of oral health and the search for dental improvements and improved aesthetics.
