Writing- On Monday afternoon, the Judicial Investigation Agency (OIJ) confirmed the discovery of traces of blood in a vacant lot located in the Blanquillo sector, in San Rafael de Oreamuno, Cartago.
This discovery came in the context of an investigation into the disappearance of a man.
Traces of blood were found while investigations were being carried out following the report of the disappearance of a man identified as Herra, 39 years old, who was reported missing on August 18.
Herra was apparently last seen in the same area where the blood traces were found.
Judicial authorities said that samples of the evidence found were taken and will be sent to forensic laboratories for analysis.
A large-scale operation is currently underway in the area to gather more evidence and clarify the situation.
