In the standings, the Louvanists gave themselves a little air just before the winter break following their clear victory in Charleroi.
Marc Brys and his men are currently in Algorfa, Spain, preparing for the second half of the season.
While the internship and the winter transfer window are in full swing, the club have announced the departure of Kawin Thamsatchanan. The 31-year-old Thai goalkeeper is on loan at Port FC, training from his native country.
Thamsatchanan arrived in Leuven in 2018 from Muangthong United for € 1.25 million. Loaned in the wake of Sapporo (Japan), he returned to Den Dreef at the end of December 2020.
In difficulty in Belgium, the goalkeeper is a key element in the Thai national team with 67 caps.
Kawin Thamsatchanan moves on a loan basis until the end of the season to Port FC, the current 4th in Thai League 1.
Good luck, Kawin!??
