Al-Marsad newspaper: The Egyptian Public Prosecution revealed the details of the last recorded call between the late journalist Shaima Gamal, and her husband, convicted of her murder, Judge Ayman Hajjaj.
The call included many expressions of reprimand and insult, including “Oh gay, old women,” according to Al-Masry Al-Youm.
When the prosecution confronted the “judge” with these recordings, he said: “This is what she was doing all along and there is nothing new.” He added: “The matter is simply that she was divorced verbally, whether it was customary or official under the influence of anger, and this was more than 10 times. And not 3 times.
He continued, “She was provoking me to verbally release her, then bargaining with me under the pretext of returning and under pressure from video and photos of our private relationship, and to inform my first wife.”
The security services had arrested the judge accused of killing his wife, Shaima Gamal, together with his friend, following luring her to a farm in Abu Sir, Badrashin, Giza, and burying her body inside the farm.
