From May 9th to 11th, students vote for the ÖH. With a recent voter turnout of twelve percent, the student representatives are fighting for every vote.

14,130 students from the University of Salzburg will be asked to go to the polls from Tuesday to Thursday. Every two years, Austria’s students elect their interest group, the Austrian Students’ Union (ÖH). Since the 1990s, the faction with the most votes in Salzburg has traditionally been the “Greens and Alternative Students” (GRAS). In the last two elections, the parliamentary group achieved 36.3 percent.
