Asuncion, IP Agency.- Payment of July salaries to officials of 48 public institutions and entities begins this Friday, July 26, according to the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), through the General Directorate of the Public Treasury (DGTP).
Through the network of the National Development Bank (BNF), officials of the National Congress, the Senate, the Chamber of Deputies, the Presidency and Vice Presidency of the Republic, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Economy and Finance are authorized to collect payments.
Officials from the Ministry of Public Health and Social Welfare, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the Ministry of Public Works and Communications, and the Ministry of Women will also receive salaries.
Officials from the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security, the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development, the Ministry of Social Development, the Ministry of Urban Planning, Housing and Habitat, the Ministry of Children and Adolescents and the Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies will also be paid.
The list continues with the Ombudsman’s Office, the National Mechanism for the Prevention of Torture, the National Institute of Technology, Standardization and Metrology, INDERT, DIBEN and the Paraguayan Indigenous Institute.
Officials from the National Fund for Culture and the Arts, the Regulatory Body for Health Services, the National Institute of Cooperativism, the Paraguayan Institute of Crafts, the National Forestry Institute, the Paraguayan Institute of Agrarian Technology and the National Postal Service of Paraguay will also be paid on this date.
The list continues with public employees of DINAPI, the Consumer and User Defense Secretariat, the National Competition Commission, the National Agency for Traffic and Road Safety, the National Council of Higher Education, the National Agency for Evaluation and Accreditation of Higher Education and the Radiological and Nuclear Regulatory Authority.
Officials from the National Intelligence Secretariat, the Higher Institute of Fine Arts, the National Institute of Higher Education, the National Directorate of Defense, Health and Animal Welfare, the National Institute of Statistics, the National Institute of Paraguayan Audiovisual, the National Directorate of Sanitary Surveillance, the National Directorate of Migration and the Social Security Fund for Railway Employees and Workers will also be paid.
Disbursements from the General Treasury are subject to the submission of Resource Transfer Requests (STR) by State Agencies and Entities (OEE).
