FC Barcelona issued an official statement stating that the budget for the 2022/2023 season has been approved. This includes a profit forecast of 274 million euros. Barcelona said in a statement:

This includes a profit forecast of 274 million euros.

A Barcelona statement read: “The FC Barcelona Board of Directors met today, Monday, in an ordinary session, and the Board of Directors approved the budget for the 2022/2023 season, which includes an operating income budget of 1,255 million euros, with an expected profit of 274 million euros.

At the end of the previous season, Barcelona’s board of directors closed the 2021/2022 financial year with a turnover of 1017 million euros and profits of 98 million euros.

Barcelona scored 16 points from 6 matches in the League and is second in the table, two points behind leaders Real Madrid.

Barcelona won 5 matches and drew once, scored 18 goals and conceded one goal.

In the Champions League, Barcelona beat Viktoria Plzen 5/1 at the Camp Nou before losing 0/2 to Bayern Munich in Germany in the first two rounds.

Barcelona is scheduled to play Real Mallorca on October 1 in La Liga, and then with Inter Milan in the Champions League.

Barcelona concluded fiery deals in the summer market, most notably signing Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich, Jules Conde from Seville, Andreas Christensen and Frank Kessie in two free transfer deals.
