On July 20, local time, Apple began distributing the official version of “iPadOS 15.6” to general users. The iPad compatible with the same OS can be updated.

In iPadOS 15.6, the TV App has added options to play sports broadcasts that are already in progress from the beginning, pause / fast rewind / fast forward, and even though there is free storage, “device storage is available”. Several bugs have been fixed, such as “It’s full.”

iPadOS 15.6 includes enhancements, bug fixes, and security updates.
- Added options to the TV App to play sports broadcasts that are already in progress from the beginning, and to pause / rewind / fast forward
- Fixed an issue where “Device storage is full” might continue to appear in “Settings” even if the device storage has free space
- Fixed an issue that might cause Braille devices to slow down or become unresponsive when navigating text in “Mail”
- Fixed an issue where Safari tabs might be returned to the previous page
- Fixed an issue where the charger and other USB-C accessories might not be detected on the iPad mini (6th generation)
