A young officer of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) was killed after unknown individuals intercepted him and without saying a word shot him multiple times in different regions of the body. The event occurred on Sucre Street, downtown sector, Magdaleno, Zamora municipality, Aragua state.

It was learned that everything happened around 11:00 pm last Saturday, in front of the Toto liquor store, two and a half blocks from Plaza Bolívar in Magdaleno. According to unofficial sources, the official identified as Ricardo Jesús Carmona Pérez, 21, was sitting on the sidewalk, at which time the elements arrived and fired their weapons against him.

After the vile murder was perpetrated, the men fled quickly in an unknown direction. It should be noted that the officer was not on duty at the time of the events, nor was he assigned to the Magdaleno police command.

The death occurred immediately, so commissions from the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigation Corps (Cicpc) went to the site, who were in charge of collecting evidence of criminalistic interest.

After the investigation was carried out, the body was transferred to the Forensic Medicine Service for the required procedures. Until the closing of this edition, the reasons that caused this event were unknown; However, it is presumed that the murderers belong to the “Wilmer Guayabal” and “El Asdrúbal” gang.
