The motto of this year’s nationwide “Öffi painting competition” was “My journey through the seasons”. The Upper Austrian Climate Alliance, ÖBB and the Upper Austrian Transport Association recently announced the winners. A total of 1320 drawings were submitted.
The winner’s name is Justin Schrattenecker and he attends the elementary school in Aurolzmünster. The jury loved his imaginative image of a train traveling through the four seasons. As a reward, the student and his family received a train journey to Vienna including hotel accommodation and a visit to Schönbrunn Zoo.
As a special highlight, the student’s winning drawing can be admired on an OÖVV regional bus that runs on routes 840, 841 and 842 between Aurolzmünster and Ried.
The group prize also went to the Innviertel. The second class of the Riedberg elementary school can look forward to a class trip in Upper Austria including admission to a leisure facility of their choice.
