Instead of a rectangular form factor, a cylindrical one is used: lithium-ion cells have a diameter of 46 mm and two height options. The energy density in the new batteries has increased by 20%, and the charging speed by 30%. In addition, carbon dioxide emissions from the production of new cells were reduced by 60%.
