Sasa Kalajdzic is likely to look for a new challenge this winter: As “Bild” reports, the 26-year-old ÖFB striker has decided to move to Eintracht Frankfurt.
For Wolverhampton (contract until 2027), Kalajdzic has mostly only made substitute appearances since returning from his cruciate ligament tear. In the current season, the two-meter man has two goals in eleven Premier League games. This is how Eintracht Frankfurt recently positioned themselves. The Hessians are interested in loaning Kalajdzic for six months.
In addition to Eintracht Frankfurt, several other teams had recently expressed interest in the 26-year-old: In addition to West Ham United and FC Fulham, former club VfB Stuttgart are also said to have been interested in the Austrian. However, the Swabians would only be interested in Kalajdzic if top scorer Serhou Guirassy were to leave the club. The risk is too high for the attacker: he needs match practice to keep himself fit for the European Championships – which is probably why Frankfurt has been awarded the contract.
