ÖFB goalkeeper Manuela Zinsberger becomes a mother for the first time

It’s finally here, the first child of ÖFB team goalkeeper Manuela Zinsberger and her wife Madeleine – both have been married for a year. “Baby Zinsberger,” as the Arsenal legionnaire announced in December. On Monday evening, she published a first photo of the baby on Instagram and also revealed the son’s name. Marvis was written there in huge letters, with the hashtags “Welcome to our World,” “Babyboy” and “Family.”

The boy’s exact date of birth can also be read on the wristband: June 29th. However, it took a long time before Marvis was actually born. Zinsberger had already missed the trip to Iceland with the ÖFB national team a month ago because the birth was imminent – now the time had finally come.

In purely sporting terms, Zinsberger and the ÖFB ladies will soon be playing in the European Championship qualification. On July 12, the team will host Poland at home before facing Germany in Hanover four days later. Zinsberger will be playing her 100th international match against Poland – and this time as a new mother.
