ODI series against South Africa starts tomorrow; Sanju may play

The ODI series once morest South Africa starts tomorrow. The second tier team will take on South Africa as the key players have left for the T20 World Cup. Malayali wicket keeper Sanju Samson is also in the team. Sanju is expected to play in all the three matches. The match will start at 1.30 pm at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Stadium, Lucknow.

Shikhar Dhawan will lead India. Along with Dhawan, there are a handful of openers like Shubman Gill, Rahul Tripathi, Rituraj Gaekwad, Ishan Kishan and so on, so not all of them may play. Both Dhawan and Gill get into the opening night. Shreyas may land at number three and Sanju at number four. Otherwise Tripathi/Patidar/Gaekwad, Shreyas and Sanju are likely to play at the third, fourth and fifth positions respectively. Gaikwad may be shifted to the opener and Gill may also play at number three. While Shahbaz Ahmed and Shardul Thakur are all-rounders, Deepak Chahar, Mohammad Siraj and Josh Khan are the all-night pacers. One of Ravi Bishnoi and Kuldeep Yadav will also make the team.

South Africa has assembled a strong team. With Temba Bavuma as the captain, Quinton de Kock, Aiden Markram, David Miller, Kagiso Rabada, Tabriz Shamsi and Antic Norkia have been included in the team. If India can win the series once morest this team, it will be a big achievement.
