All-Star Wide Receiver Odell Beckham Jr. might go unsigned in the current NFL season, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported.
Beckham Jr. has been on the radar of teams like the Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills in recent weeks, but Fowler notes that now the star player will most likely not play this season and will decide to sign in March, to calmly prepare for the 2023-2024 campaign.
Let’s remember that the 30-year-old wide receiver is still recovering from a serious knee ligament injury and a recent report mentioned that the Cowboys felt that he was not yet fit to take the field.
Beckham was a key player in the Rams’ Super Bowl run last season, racking up 305 yards and five touchdowns in eight regular-season games and 288 yards and two touchdowns in the postseason before suffering his devastating injury.
The best thing for him may be to take things easy and give his knee another year of rehabilitation, so that in 2023 he tries to be at the level that led him to become one of the main stars in the NFL.
