Asunción, IP Agency.- More than 300 residents of Chino Cue, Ytakyry district, in the department of Alto Paraná, received medical attention within the framework of the Pink October campaign.
Health personnel from the X Health Region, Alto Paraná, provided assistance to the citizens of the town of Chino Cue, in the Ytakyry district, in the tenth department, within the framework of the Pink October campaign. The activity took place at the Basic School No. 7,053 Niño Mártires de Acosta Ñú.
During the day, comprehensive health care was provided to 309 residents, among whom 40 people were treated in the dental service; 35 ultrasounds carried out and 10 vaccinations, as reported by the Ministry of Health.
For its part, whole milk powder, enriched with iron, zinc, copper and vitamin C, from the Comprehensive Nutritional Food Program (PANI) was delivered to nine children and four pregnant women, and four people were treated in the nutrition service.
There were also 33 pediatric and 100 medical clinic visits and 24 gynecological consultations. In addition, family planning talks were held for 11 people, eight prenatal check-ups, 14 pap smears and 14 rapid HPV tests, among other services.
