Why Awareness Matters

As Alexandra Roulleaux aptly points out, “in France, breast cancer is the most common cancer in women, accounting for 33%, but it also affects men in rare cases. It’s crucial that in Buzançais, dressed in pink for the occasion, we mobilize to fight this cancer impacting so many women.”

Breast Cancer Statistics in France

  • Breast cancer affects 1 in 8 women in France.
  • Every year, over 58,000 women receive a breast cancer diagnosis.
  • Early detection significantly improves survival rates.
