A shocking video has gone viral on social media showing a man stabbing his ex-wife in broad daylight in the middle of the market in the 6th of October City. The people caught the perpetrator, and the victim’s brother assaulted him, causing him separate injuries, and they were caught. In front of Colonel Ahmed Negm, inspector of the October Gardens Division, the only survivor of the crime said that frequent disputes between her mother and the accused revolved around her insistence on keeping her children from her first marriage, and he refused to do so, so he divorced her.

According to the investigations of Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Daoud, Chief of Investigations of the Third of October Department, the victim left the marital home a month ago, but a verbal altercation occurred between him and the accused on the day of the crime, so he followed her while she was walking to the scene of the incident and assaulted her with a knife, killing her.

The necessary report was issued, and Hakamdar Al-Jiza referred it to the Public Prosecution, which ordered the detention of the perpetrator and the victim’s brother pending investigations.
