During the past few hours, a group of regions of the Kingdom witnessed varying rainfalls, which will inevitably contribute to reviving the health of the dams on the one hand, and in restoring hope to the farmers of receiving a good agricultural season on the other hand.

A number of separate areas in various Moroccan regions and provinces, especially the north and center of the country, received rainfall this weekend, while some areas are expected to continue receiving “strong thundershowers” on Monday, according to what was announced by successive official warning bulletins.

A group of peasants, farmers and livestock breeders in most provinces and areas with an agricultural rural character were optimistic about these rains, which are expected to have a good impact due to their coincidence with the ongoing preparations for the new agricultural season.

They reported that these precipitations, despite their infrequency and irregularity in time and location, come before the start of fall agricultural activities, as well as plowing, planting, and sowing operations for grain chains and other agricultural varieties, which makes them bet on a “promising” agricultural season.

This comes at a time when farmers in some regions of the Kingdom have begun, for weeks, the process of turning and plowing the land after the initial signs that followed the rainfall in the past month, awaiting the planting process in the hope that the rainfall will continue in the coming days.
