The European Football Association (UEFA) announced today, Wednesday, that October 20 has been set as the date for the postponed match between Arsenal and PSV Eindhoven in the European League competitions.
The match was supposed to take place tomorrow, Thursday, but was postponed due to insurance issues in the wake of the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
And the British news agency “BA Media” reported that concerns were raised about the possibility of Arsenal losing the match, in the event that a suitable alternative date was not found, but the English Premier League agreed to postpone Arsenal’s match against Manchester City, which was scheduled for October 19.
The match between Arsenal and PSV Eindhoven will take place on the evening of October 20, according to UEFA, which thanked the English Premier League and the two clubs concerned for the flexibility and cooperation in rescheduling the European League match, which was postponed, after it was impossible for the local police forces to secure the confrontation.
The League announced that the new date for Arsenal’s match against Manchester City will be announced in due course.
