Owendo Container Terminal (OCT) announced that it has recently expanded its fleet with the acquisition of six new Terberg YT193 port tractors.
This cutting-edge equipment, specially designed for container unloading and loading operations as well as for their movement within the terminal, reinforces the Terminal’s operational capacities.
After obtaining the Green Terminal label in May 2022 and the ISO 14001 version 2015 certification in December 2023, the company continues to equip itself with the latest generation of technologies. This new equipment outperforms older models in terms of environmental friendliness, thanks to reduced fuel consumption and minimized pollutant emissions. In addition, they are equipped with ergonomic seats, designed to improve the health and safety of operators, thus contributing to increased productivity.
This transition to a more modern fleet reflects OCT’s commitment to environmental sustainability and operational efficiency.

Today, Owendo Container Terminal has a total fleet of 24 harbor tractors, each playing a crucial role in supporting and strengthening port operations at the Port of Owendo.
