COMPANY providing services and facility management (facilities management/FM), OCS Indonesia collaborates with Diversey Indonesia to invite various industries to explore the main trends in the FM industry that are relevant to various industrial sectors in Indonesia.

“This activity is a continuation of discussions at the Singapore Facilities Management Expert Summit event held by SIFMA some time ago, and brings it into the local context of the FM market in Indonesia,” explained Managing Director of OCS Indonesia, Yohanes Jeffry Johary at Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta Tuesday ( 4/23).

With this activity, he hopes to get input from key players from various industries, as well as their expectations from these two companies, and share the challenges faced by the industry. “So that OCS Indonesia can provide further solutions because this is an ongoing effort to make these two companies the best in their fields,” he added.

On the other hand, Jeffry said that there are challenges facing the industrial sector that come from outside, such as climate change, digital transformation, changes in social norms accelerated by Covid-19, as well as geopolitical influences and dynamics that exist in the global economy. According to him, this changes the order and perception of society regarding cleanliness, regarding the workplace, including dividing the balance between worklife balance.

“With digital transformation we change everything more efficiently with automation, by changing our operational design we can reduce the number of operators and provide solutions in terms of prices,” he said.

Furthermore, related to Environmental Social and Governance (ESG), he sees that climate change is the focus of industrial players in Indonesia.
