The Océanic no longer considered that Serge Beausoleil was the man for the job to lead the organization to great honors and, ultimately, participation in the Memorial Cup tournament that Rimouski wishes to host in 2025, according to co-owner Alexandre Tanguay.

Moreover, Tanguay assured that the verbal game with Patrick Roy, during the second round series, had no impact in the decision to thank Beausoleil on Monday morning.
