According to federal estimates, around 10 percent of the adult population in Switzerland find it difficult to read and understand texts, write their own texts, handle numbers or use a computer. For people who do not have these basic skills, everyday life and the world of work can quickly become a major challenge. A needs analysis in 2023 has shown that there is also a need for action in the canton of Obwalden. The canton of Obwalden wrote this in a press release.
