The Civil Service Commission in the State of Kuwait approved the proposal of the Minister of Health, Ahmed Al-Awadhi, regarding obtaining sick leave without medical consultation via electronic platforms.

Pursuant to the approval, the Information Systems Sector, in cooperation with the electronic means of the Ministry of Health, is working on completing the procedures required to launch this new service as soon as it is completed, so that the employee can obtain sick leave without visiting the health center, provided that the duration of the sick leave granted to the employee through electronic means does not exceed 3 days a month.
