At first, he clarifies that he is not a brunette, but a worker “at heart” and that he will spend the night outside the Chamber of Deputieswhere tomorrow at 11 o’clock in the morning they will begin to discuss the electrical reform.

He just finished high school, but he has the concern to study Law and one day become a civil servant. At the moment, he works in the Santo Domingo church, located in the Tlalpan mayor’s office, where he has lived for several years.

The young man rules out that tomorrow there will be violence by the protesters who will camp outside the lower house tonight. “I have never broken a single glass,” he tells EL UNIVERSAL.

Although it does not rule out that the different groups that are outside this enclosure, hinder the passage of any deputy who intends to enter this Sunday.

“Any action is not ruled out because the people are very upset with the actions of some legislators. And they have been kindly asked to reflect on their vote. I have the specific case of Rocío Banquells, from Movimiento Ciudadano, who has openly expressed that she will vote once morest the reform. For this reason, the town of Tlalpan demands that you think regarding her vote and that you abide by what the town commands, ”she points out.

Protesters in San Lázaro

On this Saturday followingnoon, they are only outside the legislative precinct of Saint Lazarus, regarding 20 people. It is estimated that more protesters will arrive from various entities in the country, starting at eight o’clock at night.

Jesus says that what moves him to participate in this mobilization in favor of reform in Mexico is his deep love for the country.

“I am a person convinced of what he does and with clear and firm ideals. I am convinced that the approval of the electrical reform will bring many benefits to all Mexicans, he comments.

Since this followingnoon, the legislators of the PRI, PAN and PRD, have arrived at the lower house, to prevent groups of protesters from preventing access tomorrow. There was roast beef and even the PRD deputies celebrated the birthday of a legislator.

“What they did is a mess, because he who owes nothing, fears nothing. I would ask legislators which side of history they want to be on: the right side or the side where you are going to be judged for your behavior,” she says.

Jesús arrived at half past four this Saturday with a backpack, inside which there is a blanket “and a lot of desire to continue fighting for my country,” he says.
