With a 2-0 victory over PSV Eindhoven, Borussia Dortmund advanced to the quarter-finals of the football Champions League. After the draw in Eindhoven, the German team took an early lead, then in the last quarter of an hour an undisclosed goal was scored, and in the minutes of added time, the team from the Ruhr area also scored another regular goal. In the fourth BL match between the two teams, the German club remained undefeated: in addition to two draws, it triumphed for the second time.

Atlético Madrid won a penalty shoot-out at home once morest Internazionale, thus reaching the quarter-finals of the football Champions League.
