An ATM was blown up on Industriestrasse in Oberentfelden AG in the early hours of the morning, as the Aargau cantonal police wrote in a press release. The incident happened just following 3:30 a.m. at a Coop Pronto petrol station.
The perpetrators fled with a dark VW Golf 8 GTI. An immediate large-scale search has so far not been successful. It is not yet clear how much cash the perpetrators stole.
The federal prosecutor’s office took over the investigation because the ATM was probably blown up with explosives. The investigations are being conducted in close coordination between the Office of the Attorney General, fedpol and the Aargau cantonal police. The cantonal police are asking for information from the public.
