For the sixth time, ÖBB apprentices visited the Vereinigte Bühnen Wien, a Wien Holding company.

With an invitation to ROCK ME AMADEUS – THE FALCO MUSICAL, ÖBB would like to say thank you to their apprentices who do great things every day. The Falco piece also received a standing ovation from the young people who traveled to Ronacher in Vienna, which has thrilled the audience every evening since its premiere.

He was a superstar – he was popular. The latest VBW in-house production tells the exciting and moving story of the young Viennese musician Hans Hölzel and his rise to global stardom in a spectacular and at the same time touching new musical that was created especially for Vienna by top-class international creatives and for which the ÖBB trains its apprentices invited to an exclusive performance. The invitation to visit the theater at the Vereinigte Bühnen Wien, a Wien Holding company, took place for the first time in 2014 and has been repeated several times since then.

Yesterday, November 9th, it was that time once more: Over 900 apprentices from almost all federal states, including trainers, accepted the invitation to a top-class cultural excursion to the Ronacher in Vienna. This year, the exclusive ÖBB apprentice performance featured ROCK ME AMADEUS – THE FALCO MUSICAL. The musical is a homage to the exceptional Austrian artist and honors Falco as an artist and person. Since the world premiere in October 2023, the wave of enthusiasm for the latest VBW musical has not stopped. In addition to Falco’s greatest hits, the young audience might expect an exciting journey through emotions, successes, escapades and the recurring conflict of the “Falcon”.
