The Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) and Deutsche Bahn (DB) are presenting their new long-distance train service between the two neighbors on Tuesday followingnoon (3:30 p.m.) in Berlin. This will apply from the upcoming timetable change in December. It is also regarding night trains, which are to be expanded in the short and medium term.
There were no details from the two railway companies for the time being. In any case, the Austrians bought DB’s night train business years ago and are a major operator of night trains in Europe. The ÖBB want to expand the business, it was always said recently. Paris, Brussels and Genoa, among others, can be reached from Vienna at night.
