Given this, the fujimorista Ernest Bustamantepresident of the Foreign Relations Committee, indicated that the Peruvian State and the OAS must sign a new agreement for the event to take place in October of this year.
“The OAS attempted to introduce changes in Peruvian domestic law, with the issue of gender ideology, using as a pretext asking to approve the Agreement to hold the 52nd Session of the OAS in Lima. Peru and the OAS must sign a new Agreement. The October meeting will still happen,” he said in a tweet.
