Bad weather, slight delays in Tyrol, Bavaria used public holiday
Vienna (OTS) – “From an Austrian point of view, we are observing a very quiet traffic volume for Easter,” reported the ÖAMTC mobility information on Saturday morning. “So far, there have only been slight delays in Tyrol, specifically on the Brenner Autobahn (A13) in the south, in the Zillertal in front of the Brettfall Tunnel (B169) and in front of the Kiefersfelden border point (A12) when leaving the country.”
Because of the bad weather, in large parts of Austria there was rain and snowfall, for many the planned Easter trip fell through. “In addition, German vacationers, and above all Bavarians, used their public holiday yesterday. The departure towards the Adriatic Sea and the ski areas took place on Thursday evening and Friday followingnoon. At the moment, there doesn’t seem to be much to come,” concludes the ÖAMTC mobility information.
