ÖAMTC: Partial standstill on Tauern Autobahn (A10) in Salzburg

2024-09-08 13:22:32

Vienna (OTS) –

In Salzburg, drivers heading towards Germany had to wait more than two and a half hours between Flachauwinkel and Werfen on Sunday afternoon, September 8, according to ÖAMTC experts. On a stretch of around 30 kilometers, progress was slow in some sections, or the convoys came to a standstill. In the extremely dense return traffic, accidents and defective vehicles repeatedly led to traffic jams and delays. Many drove home “at the last minute” – as predicted by ÖAMTC.

ÖAMTC services:

Please inform yourself in advance in our traffic service at www.oeamtc.at/verkehrsservice about the current traffic situation.

Traffic Alert, the proactive service specifically for commuters, offers interesting features such as an alternative route in case of major delays, more information at www.oeamtc.at/trafficalert or in the ÖAMTC app.
